Financial Management Brokerage Inc. commenced business in Calgary in 1978 as Morton H. Wyne Insurance Agency, under the trade name Financial Management. The company originally operated as a branch for several insurance carriers. In 1984 Financial Management Inc. was incorporated and entered the brokerage business. Throughout the eighties and nineties, Financial Management Inc. continued to expand and developed an extensive product offering to brokers in Alberta.
In 2004, Financial Management Inc. merged with The Woodman Financial Group Inc. (an MGA that operated in Calgary that was established in 1992 as an Aetna Branch). The company that resulted from the merger was named Financial Management Brokerage Inc.
Financial Management Brokerage Inc. operates primarily in southern Alberta and prides itself in providing excellent technical support (through our WEIS Illustration System, W.Insurance, Winfund (FundServ)) and friendly service to provide the brokers that they service. The company offers a full selection of insurance company products, both on the risk side (life, critical illness, and disability insurance) and investment products (segregated funds and GIC’s).
In conjunction with BridgeForce we provide weekly and monthly electronic newsletters which are second to none.
Finally, we provide our brokers with an extensive seminar and education agenda, which helps them achieve their goals of growing their business.
